The ARM 7” FMIC measures 20 x 7 x 5.75 inches for a total of 805 cubic inches, almost DOUBLE the size of the OEM 335i intercooler and 180 cu in larger than our 5” FMIC. Combined with our Ultra-Dense fin packs, not only are you getting a substantially larger intercooler, but also one that utilizes its size efficiently for maximum cooling performance.
The ARM 7” FMIC is the first ever intercooler upgrade for the E90 335i that has been engineered with CAD designed CNC aluminum connectors for you to utilize either the OEM intercooler hoses or the ARM FMIC Hose Upgrade. Opting to utilize the OEM connectors will make for a faster and fully reversible install. While upgrading your 335i to the massive ARM 3 in. intercooler hoses, you will be giving your 335i maximum airflow by removing any restriction the OEM connections may have on the charged air.
When testing the 7" FMIC on a Stage 2+ N54 335i we found it made an average of 10whp/10wtq over our 5" FMIC upgrade and 35whp/38wtq over the OEM intercooler!

customer service was great, intercooler looks really amazing
Good quality, good fit and well written instructions - what's not to like! I love how well ARM offerings for n54 are integrated: FMIC, piping, clamps, charge pipe, downpipes, etc. All well integrated, designed and documented!
It was a easy install until my Dremel tool stopped working 30mins install turns into 2 hours. Don’t be like me
Install took a bit longer than advertised. Aside from that, very easy and straightforward. Cutting is easy and should not take long. I have an E92 N55 XDrive and I was able to finally finish my FBO build with this FMIC. I would highly recommend and make sure you have a helper because it is a little heavy. Or use a jack to hold it up while you line up and get the studs and hoses lined up. I had a bit of trouble with the stock IC piping as I kept it but if you upgrade, it should not be a problem. The stock IC piping problem was resolved after some troubleshooting and force-- fits great. No complaints as of now.
Works very well and maintains my vehicle nice and cool!
